From August

You may recall that I had a month in the pulpit for Riverside Bible Church. Well, I am also currently preparing now for another month in November, resuming verse by verse studies in Philemon and Esther.

Welcome, Brethren

Here I go. This might be done in much the same way as my entrance into teaching the Word – with nerves and unsurety. However, I have the words of the Holy Spirit spoken through Paul to give me that surety and settle my nerves:

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me. – 1 Corinthians 9:16-17
